The victim Jash Ashar and the culprit Vishal Dadlani
Vishal Dadlani, the lead vocalist of rock band Pentagram hurled a six-foot mike stand at an unappreciative audience hurting a fan, Jash Deepak Ashar (18).
The boy received four stitches below his left eyebrow. The incident took place at the Goregaon sports complex on Saturday, where the group was performing at a rock show called Moshmania.
Ashar is recuperating at his Vile Parle residence. "A group in the audience started booing

Ashar lodged a complaint against Dadlani at the Malad police station. "We arrested him the same night the FIR was lodged against him. He was later released on bail," said senior police inspector NM Madane.
"I am not aware that someone was hurt, but if it happened it's unfortunate," said Vijay Nair, the show's organiser. Dadlani refused to comment but Randolph, the guitarist in the band, said that what happened was an accident. "It was not intentional," said Rudolph.

"A crowd often boos a singer, and he or she should take it in the right spirit. This is definitely not the way a professional musician should handle criticism," said Yash Trivedi (17), a student of Mithibai College
