"What Nehru and Vajpayee did was past but from onwards there will be no talks on Kashmir issue with Pakistan. We will ask the NDA to change Kashmir policy," he said.
"Kashmir is not a dispute. There should be no talks. It is our part and people of Kashmir should understand it well," said Swami, an allay of the BJP.
He also claimed that Nehru took the issue of Kashmir yo the UN "without taking the then Cabinet into confidence". "So those people who seek plebiscite should contact Nehru and not India for this purpose,” he added.
Swami, however, favoured dialogue with China saying that the talks between India and China involve border dispute and not Kashmir issue.
