The communist, seculars and liberals are notorious for their ability
to twist facts and suppress history which tells unpleasant stories which
are not politically helpful for them. The victim of this propaganda by
leftist historians and others, who we now call Seculars, was the
Rashtreeya SwayamSevak Sangh, the Hindu nationalist organization, which
is still the largest organization in India.
Look at these seculars who abuse RSS, as a communal fascist organization. Seculars are of three types : Apolitical, Communists, Congress. The first category, apolitical is a nonexistent one. They simply hide their politics. The communists, who are pretty becoming irrelevant in the world, are the second category. If you go deep to communist history, we can see that it is full of blood. Be it from Cheguvera, who murdered his own people, accusing them of treason, be it Stalin, who also did the same to his own followers, because he doubted them. Be it Mao or Lenin, whose economic policies lead to great famines and caused millions to starve and die. The Congress party, India’s largest political party, is no different. Be it the partition riots, Sikh riots, Hindu Muslim riots in Indira Gandhi time, the congress party can be held in many ways responsible. These are the people who accuse RSS of terrorism and fundamentalism.
The first thing Seculars ask you when you say that you are associated with RSS, is that it is a communal organization. Now they put this bewildering logic, to prove RSS supported Hitler’s genocide of millions of Jews. This is what they quote from Guruji Golwarkar book “We or Our Nationhood defined” , “ To keep up the purity of the Race and its culture, Germany shocked the world by her purging the country of the semitic Races — the Jews. Race pride at its highest has been manifested here. Germany has also shown how well impossible it is for Races and cultures, having differences going to the root, to be assimilated into one united whole, a good lesson for us in Hindusthan to learn and profit by.”.
At first it seems to us that, yes it was not quite right to support Hitler, but let us understand the fundamental facts before condemning or praising Guruji words in the books. The holocaust happened between 1939 and 1945. How come the book which is published in 1939 praise the acts of Hitler? Laughable logic, but sinister too. In his later works, Guruji Golwarkar said “The Christians committed all sorts of atrocities on the Jews by giving them the label “Killers of Christ”. Hitler is not an exception but a culmination of the 2000-year long oppression of the Jews by the Christians”. He condemned the anti-Semitism of Hitler, and it is undeniable fact that the Christians were cruel to Jews and Hitler is just an extrapolation of this cruelty.
The next question they would ask is about Hindu Rashtra and secularism. While we can give our own opinions to these concepts, but we often confuse our opinions with that of RSS. According to RSS Hindu Rashtra is not analogous to Semitic nations. It is clearly stated in Golwarkar book, ”Bunch of thoughts”, that “all that is expected of our Muslim and Christan co-citizens is the shedding of the notions of their being ‘religious minorities’ as also their foreign mental complexion and merging themselves in the common national stream of this soil. As far as the national tradition of this land is concerned, it never considers that with a change in the method of worship, an individual creases to be the son of the soil and should be treated as an alien. Here, in this land, there can be no objection to God being called by any name whatever. Ingrained in this soil is love and respect for all faiths and religious beliefs. He cannot be a son of this soil at all who is intolerant of other faiths.” He further says “In spite of this catholic and rational approach of Hindu Rashtra towards the so-called minorities, it is amazing that some people should harbour fear that the ‘minorities’ live in mortal peril if Hindu Rashtra comes into its own. The fear, if at all genuine, can only be due to their misconception that ‘Hindu Rashtra’ would treat other religious groups in much the same way as the Semitic religions did.”
Another interesting thing is RSS never equated “Nationalism (Hindutva)” with Secularism. Golwarkar says “Then there is the confusion of equating ‘secularism’ with ‘nationalism’. The two can never be the same. ‘Nation’ is a whole and living entity. It has ever so many functions, one of which is the statecraft. And ‘secularism’ is only one of the qualities of that statecraft. Thus equating ‘secularism’ with ‘nationalism’ would be like identifying one of the functions of a limb of a body with the body itself, and exhibits a sad lack of understanding of the basic distinction between ‘Nation’ and ‘State’.” According to Golwarkar the apt word for our “state” would be ‘multireligious’ and not ‘secular’. In this country, the ‘state’ was never tagged on to any particular faith.
