Digvijay Singh clarifies I am Hindu

@Hindudesh “I am a practising Hindu. I was given Diksha by His Holiness Jagadguru Shankaracharya of Dwarka and Joshimath in 1983,” the Congress general secretary Mr. Digvijay Sing wrote in his blog.

Even though it defies ones common sense to take a Congressman at face value in such matters, I will do so for the moment. The long list given by you in trying to impress us with your “Hindu” credentials merely denotes practices for your own salvation acting as a salve to your guilty conscience for berating the religion of your forefathers in which you were born. In the Chatur Varnas of Hinduism a Rajput like you is a Khashtriya, a ruling class that has been traditionally ruling in India since times immemorial, even before the times of Lord Ram and Lord Krishna who were Khastriyas.

History tells us of Man Singh who became the brother-in-law of Mughal Emperor Akbar by choice through the marriage of his sister to the Mughal ruler. History also tells us of Maha Rana Pratap of the same times. Both were Rajputs and as a consequence Kshatriyas. But see the difference between the two. Till date one is hated as a spineless betrayer of the Hindus while the other is an all time hero to the people of India. Can we call Man Singh a “secularist” going by the current definition of the term popularized by one of your founding fathers, Jawaharlal Nehru and most assiduously and destructively being adhered to by you and your Party? Which one would you prefer to be-Man Singh or Rana Pratap? Where do you think your intemperate utterances against the admirers of Rana Pratap places you? How many dyed-in-the-wool “secular” Hindus do you know of who would gladly marry off his daughter or sister to a Muslim? Would you? Even Nehru expressed his shock when he learnt that daughter Indira was set to marry a Parsi. And yet all this for the sake of winning an election with the votes of a section of Indians who are supposed to vote as a bloc no matter what the price that has to be paid in order to get those votes? And to what purpose to win such an election? Is there any vision to make India an economic world power or is it merely to grab raw power by hook or by crook through an equally unscrupulous media to make gargantuan sums of money and more money to buy up unprincipled elected members from other parties to gain a majority in Parliament in order to carry on with the loot from the nation’s exchequer? How would you rate the performance of your Party since 2004? Does it come anywhere near that of the single term of Vajpayee’s government?

The prime most duty of the Khastriya is to defend Hindu Dharma by defending the country in which Hindus comprise the majority or Bharat. If Hindus and Hinduism are not saved or defended against from predators, than India or Bharat cannot be saved. We see what is happening in Pakistan and Bangladesh where Hindus were in majority up to a point when an alien dogma named Islam increased the number of its adherents to overwhelm the Hindus and had wrenched out a another country from where Hindus were driven out as secularism, even as you understand it to be, is anathema to them. Whilst they have no qualms of stating this quite openly, yet their apologists insist that the faith believes in “secularism” the version of which you preach to the secular Hindu. The most glaring proof lies in the Partition of India on communal lines as Muslims made it quite clear that they were incapable of living with Hindus, an unpardonable act that was presided over by the leading lights of your Party. One of the greatest justifications doled out by your Party as to why Muslims need to be constantly appeased is that otherwise they will demand another Pakistan as they have again reached the critical mass to pull this off in India again with the Congress Party remaining unchanged even after 1947. And yet your Party and its clones want us to toe this spurious and injurious thesis for the sake of being counted as "secular" as you define it.

The first casualty among others was the much vaunted but flawed “Secularism” that you and your ilk from the Congress practice and want all of us to blindly follow and pander to the intolerant mindset of the followers of Islam. Why talk of Pakistan and Bangladesh? What about our own Kashmir Valley where Muslims are in the majority? They have chased out the original inhabitants the Pandits root and branch from their ancestral homes and have made them refugees in their own country-an instance that is unique in history. The UNHCR refuses to recognize them as refugees as persecuted and displaced people rendered homeless in their own country cannot be counted as refugees. All these are the inevitable fallouts of following a warped policy of Muslim appeasement that was first introduced by the British to create a permanent cleavage between Hindus and Muslims followed up by Mahatma Gandhi through his further accentuating Khilafat Movement ostensibly to bring the Indian Muslims into his freedom movement in a way admitting that they were aloof from it. The Muslims were given the clear message that by this blunder that their Ummah (The word 'Ummah ' refers to "the people" in Arabic, more specifically to Muslim people with a common ideology and culture) was a global phenomenon and that there was no difference between an Indian Muslim and his completely dissimilar Turkish counterpart some of whom were aggrieved at the abolishing of the Calphate by Mustafa Kemal Attaturk the Turkish President and the regressive Sharia laws abolished as he said, “The religion of Islam will be elevated if it will cease to be a political instrument, as had been the case in the past.” Although Attaturk did succeed in modernising the Turks, Islam remained a political instrument everywhere else including in India.

Gandhi’s Khilafat Movement had sown the seeds of the Partition of India to germinate and become a reality few years down the line. Yet, can anyone deny that Gandhi was a staunch Hindu? Even the last words he uttered before he breathed his last after being shot by Godse were, ”Hai Ram.” So just by laying a claim of being a “practicing Hindu” is not good enough as the term can reveal as much it can hide. To use a current terminology a “genetically modified” Hindu can still be a “practicising Hindu” as an organic one. Unfortunately, you and those like you fall in the former category-you have been genetically modified and hence a danger to the rest of us who wish to remain genetically unmodified. Let me explain. Our agricultural activity began over 12,000 years ago and ever since then our farmers graded their harvest and put away the best grains for the next sowing season. In this way what we have today is a result of this millennia old practice of the best seeds being used for fresh sowing. Now enter US MNCs like Monsanto who wish to change all this strictly for their revenues and cold-blooded profits obliterating our time tested practices for ever as once these genetically modified seeds become the norm for sowing they will through cross-pollination adversely affect those fields that are sowing the organic ones permanently as genetic erosion is irreversible. According to this technology, a variety with an inbuilt terminator gene ominously named RIP will bear normal seeds with all its characteristic features but the seed will not germinate in the next generation. As a result, the practice in which the farmers store their seeds for the next crop is going to be permanently jeopardized. The only motive behind this technology is to have complete biological control over the seed supply and sold by the multinational companies. Now just replace the MNCs with the Congress Party and the other “secular” parties and you have the answer. Moreover, through a strange coincidence the person who heads your party is not of Indian origin who took up Indian citizenship quite belatedly and even reluctantly.

Sorry for the digression but it helps to explain my point that there are uncanny similarities between genetically modified crops and genetically modified Hindus with similar deleterious effects. Hence, despite the seven points listed by you in your defense to convince us of your Hinduness you are NOT an organic Hindu anymore. The terminator gene technology embedded in your DNA called “Congress-Secularism” or sham-secularism has paid put to all your pretensions of being a genuine or organic Hindu. Like the genetically modified crop the prominence of people like you are also vitiating the environment and cross-pollinating the organic Hindus. One need not be a member of the “Sangh and BJP brigade” to appreciate this simple truth which can and will survive even without them. The proof lies in the direction that L.K.Advani and his cohorts have taken-the same Advani who was an untouchable only a few years ago as he was considered to be a communal Hindu and now the darling of the standard bearers of “secularism” like Nitish Kumar of Bihar and you. Whether you realize it or not you are used by your masters as a kite-flying loud mouth who can make the most outlandish statements which your Party can either accept or reject depending on the exigencies of the moment unconcerned of the consequences that puts you into.

Narendra Modi just happens to be at the right spot in the right time in our long history or else we would still have been stuck to Advani. The collective revulsion at the conduct of your Party in all matters be they economic performance, good governance, expressions of integrity and accountability acts as the driver to see a suitable replacement of a dummy Prime Minister who is just a puppet on a string going through the motions as being manipulated by the puppeteer to whom all your Party members prostrate in general and you in particular. No genuine Hindu Kshatriya would behave in this despicable manner. Don’t take my word for it-just read the advice that Lord Krishna gives Arjuna in the Bhagvad Gita on how a Kshatriya needs to acquit himself in the battle called life.
