Elated with the BJP’s landslide victory in Gujarat by poll, Chief Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday thanked the people of Gujarat and claimed that the result is an ultimatum to the Congress-led UPA Government before 2014 Lok Sabha poll.
“I thank the voters of Gujarat for voting for the BJP. This victory is an ultimatum to the Congress-led UPA.”

Talking to reporters after attending the Chief Minister’s Conference on Internal Security Modi said, “This security meet has been reduced to an annual ritual. The Government must submit the white paper on the suggestions made by Chief Ministers to the UPA in the past nine years. The Government must mention in the white paper about the steps taken on the suggestions.”
Modi suggested to follow two pronged strategy to tackle Maoism in the country.
Modi blamed the Congress-led UPA for providing political security instead of internal security.
“Government talks of internal security but facilitates political security,” said Modi.
