Mumbai, April 18 :
Cyberspace was heavily buzzed today morning with the speculation about
likely assassination bid on Narendra Modi twitted by senior journalist
Madhu Kishwar and central Govt’s stunning silence over the news. Madhu
Kishwar said, quoting an anonymous ‘very senior central Govt official’
that Modi may be assassinated if Teesta and Congress fail to trap him in any FIR.
Madhu Kishwar, who is recently getting
attention due to her balanced and clear reports about Gujarat and
Narendra Modi, twitted today morning :-
“Yesterday met some senior Govt
officers who said Modi's assassination real possibility if Teesta
Congress fail to get fraud FIR agnst modi
“State govt officers have said similar things earlier but I was shocked to hear this from non gujrati central govt officers
But Madhu Kishwar deleted her own twits
after an hour, citing that the twits may create un-necessary panic in
the society. However she remained firm on the information while replying
to various queries from tweeples.
She further said in a reply, “It is Congress & its NGO allies that are instigating terrorist jihadis against Modi.”
“I am serious because the persons who said this are very senior and well informed insiders”
It looks like from her twits that
follow, that Kishwar was pressurised by Congress workers and seculars
immediately to delete the twit citing imaginary backlash against a
particular minority community.
But stunning was the silence by the
secular section of media, the Government machinery and the congress
party which have failed to declare that, democratically elected Chief
Ministers and political leaders will be protected at any cost against
any terrorist threat.
One local RSS volunteer says that, while
Narendra Modi gains popularity day by day, the common man in the
society is also worrying for the most popular leader’s security, as the
history of Congress in India is blotted with the unsolved cases of
physical elimination of the powerful and intelligent opposition leaders
as well as leaders within the Congress like Netaji Subhashchandra Bose
Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay, Lal Bahadur Shastri,
Madhavrao Shinde, Rajesh Pilot in the past. All these are unsolved cases
of mysterious deaths.
It’s important to watch the central Govt
response and the action it takes to protect one of the most popular
leaders in the current political scenario.
